Every year, more than 250,000 New Yorkers take over 5th Avenue for St. Patrick’s Day parade while millions of others celebrate in schools, homes and pubs.
If you’ve already chosen your Valentine’s Day greeting card and planned a romantic day but still have room for one more surprise, we have just the thing – here’s our recipe for a delicious, decadent desert to share with your loved ones.
Cut a 3″ circle out of the center of the round doily. Make a single cut through the remaining doily ring. Fan fold this remaining doily ring into 1″ sections, forming a pleated strip.
Fold the doily in half and position fold at bottom. Bring left & right ends together in center front of doily so that folds meed in center. This forms a triangle with a rounded top, point at bottom.
Paper doilies have been used for centuries to accent party decorations and culinary dishes. You can creatively use paper and foil doilies to add a festive feeling to holiday celebrations, formal events, craft projects and much more.
Delicious foods can fill any party theme. You’ll most definitely want a cake for the graduation party. Ice cream cake is even better; just don’t pay to have those old photos of the grad printed on the icing.
